TNT7 becomes TNT

On March 21st, the channel TNT7 completes its rebrand to TNT. The channel will also invest even more in its own original content and in April, the crime film series TNT Mystery Movie Nights launches.

TNT7 is changing its name and identity to TNT, completing the transition from its original brand "TV7" which began in March 2011. It thereby adopts the same name as its American original, in line with its sister networks around Europe in Germany, Spain and Turkey. TNT, which is operated by Turner

Broadcasting System is one of the world's leading entertainment channels and can be viewed by 100.5 million households in the U.S. and worldwide.

As part of the brand change the channel is also putting additional focus on its own original content. TNT is behind successes like Falling Skies (which returns with a second season on TNT), The Closer, Men of a Certain Age and Saving Grace.
